Introduction

Advantest (Singapore) Pte Ltd or “ASP” has an Instrument Service Section that provides Calibration and Repair Service to our valued customers using ADVANTEST’s Test & Measuring Instrument products in Singapore as well as the South East Asia region. Warranty Issue

The standard warranty period for delivery good (Product Sales) is one year from the date of airway bill. During this period, if there is any malfunction due to faulty manufacturing of parts, ASP shall repair the item free of charge. However, repairs of malfunctions due to on inevitable accident or poor handling as well as calibration and inspection will be undertaken for a fee.

The warranty period of equipment not manufactured by ADVANTEST shall be deemed to be the responsibility of the manufacturer of the relevant item(s).

Calibration Service

The precision of any measuring instrument changes over time, and so, measuring instruments that must give reliable results will require periodic calibration by a standard with ensured traceability.

Advantest (Singapore) Pte Ltd provides Calibration Service in our very own Calibration Laboratory in Singapore using a variety of calibration equipment which is traceable to A-Star NMC Singapore and other foreign National Bodies.

Five categories of calibration service are provided:


  • Digital Multi-meters / Electrometers (Non Accredited)
  • Frequency Counters (Non Accredited)
  • Spectrum Analyzers / Network Analyzers (Non Accredited)
  • DC Voltage / Current Source (Non Accredited)
  • Others - Optical power meter / sensors (Non Accredited)
  • Data Loggers, etc (Non Accredited)

Our Calibration Laboratory consists of a team of dedicated staffs with accumulated years of experience and expertise in servicing Advantest’s Test and Measuring instruments. Hence, you can be assured that your instruments will be traceable to the national standards, and that calibration will be done according to calibration items and points listed in ADVANTEST’s calibration specifications. User specific calibration may also be done at user's request. Furthermore, we will inform the user of how to deal with instruments failing to meet the standards or in need of repair.

For other Advantest’s Test and Measuring instrument products not listed in our scope of calibration service, ASP will send the relevant instruments to our Advantest Customer Support Corporation for repair or calibration, which is based in Japan.

Local calibration TAT is 5 working days upon receipt of unit. For express calibration, it will be within 3 working days, with a charge in premium to the customer.

Repair / Maintenance Service

In order to uphold the maximum performance of your measuring instrument, regular maintenance and timely service supports are essential to minimize downtime of your equipment assets.

Our Instrument Service Section provides cost effective and timely repair support to all end users. With full backup support from our Advantest Customer Support Corporation in Japan, our service section has the necessary service equipment, resources and technical expertise to provide quality and speedy repair service in the South East Asia region.

Repair warranty from ASP or Advantest Customer Support Corporation is 90 days after shipment, unless for special cases, such as when the product already reached its EOS life span.

Contract Maintenance Service is also available for customers who wish to have long-term technical support, which are more economical and hassle free.
